Show Calendar

Barn Show"In Barn" showing - These shows are for students who are looking to get their feet we in the competition ring, two shows per year are offered within the barn. Participation is limited to 80 riders and both school horses and private horses are used. For those wishing to to ride a school horse a draw is used similar to the process used for college equestrian teams. This is also a great warm up for students going to shows outside the barn. Local judges are hired and riders dress is relaxed.

RibbonsLocal Schooling Shows - Tally Ho Farm attends the Greater Houston Hunter Jumper Association and the Gulf Coast Horse Show Association recognized schooling shows. Information about the organization, rules and show results can be found at their websites. For students who have never attended a show, it is important to read the information packet above. Tally Ho Farm feels strongly that attending horse shows is more than winning ribbons. Dedication to the horse and improving skills is highly stressed.

Young Riders"A" Circuit - Tally Ho Farm travels the show circuit with advanced students including shows recognized by the THJA. Students have been very successful in the jumper, hunter and equitation classes. The farm has attended shows in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Tennessee, California, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Mississippi this past year. We have also had students qualify for the Zone Finals, the North American Junior Young Riders, Prix de States Junior Jumper Championships and the equitation finals - including the MaClay, USET and USEF. Showing at this level is only for the serious rider. Contact Kim if you are interested in more information.
